Step 1: Gently comb out tangles with a wide-tooth comb, working from the ends of the hair to the roots.
Step 2: Fill a sink with cool to lukewarm water and immerse the hair in the water.
Step 3: Mix a capful of shampoo formulated for synthetic hair or sulphate-free shampoo.
Step 4: Swish the hair around in the water, moving it from side to side and dunking it up and down. Keep doing this until the hair is clean.
Step 5: Rinse the hair thoroughly with cool water until all the lather is gone and the water runs clear.
